Hot off of solving the global credit crisis, world leaders have turned to more important matters. They have declared this Sunday October 26th, World Zombie Day. What better way to celebrate World Zombie Day than dress up like a zombie and shamble around?
And if you are going to dress up and shamble around, you might as well snap a picture of yourself. Our favorite horror magazine,
Fangoria, has a new
contest running through November 2nd. All you need to do is submit your best zombie picture to them and you can win 4 copies of Left 4 Dead! For the camera shy zombies, they have other options of what counts as a valid entry. So check out their website for the contest rules and celebrate World Zombie Day this Sunday.

The guys over at Left4Dead411.com just launched a
new contest today with the grand prize being four copies of Left 4 Dead. The contest is all about getting your picture taken in front of a horde of zombies.
Where can you find a horde before November 18th? Left4Dead411 has plenty of tips. Just please remember to respect the native zombies, they get hungry for brains if you anger them.

This weekend, expert Lego Builders from all over the world will convene in the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall for
BrickCon 2008. The exhibition floor features a massive group project called the
Zombie Apocafest, a giant, bloody urban zombie apocalypse rendered entirely in Lego. We got a sneak preview of it today, and it's awesome. Even more awesome, there's a Left 4 Dead billboard right in the middle of the action!
Defending the billboard, Lego Bill, Louis, Francis, and Zoey.
The billboard overlooks a mall.
The Survivors dig in as the zombie horde breaches the mall entrance.
The survivors pose beneath a surprisingly graphic Lego chest wound.
Francis, Bill, and Louis guard the flank while Zoey helps a cowboy deliver some, again, amazingly gory all-Lego head shots.
The L4D billboard also overlooks the Holly Star Lanes from
The Big Lebowski.
Continuing our dream
Big Lebowski / Left 4 Dead crossover theme, here's (from right to left) Zoey, Louis, Francis, Bill, and Walter Sobchak.
